Welcome Part two

So, -coughs- ahem. As Greg said this blog searves the purpose of giving updates on our book club deal. ^.^ we're looking into reading God's Debris and The Catcher in the Rye in the near future. Also, since I'm SO mature, we're going to probably read the Harry Potter series, (I've been bugging him about it) and other books, as they come up and are suggested. ^.^ Feel free to contact one of us, with suggestions or questions.

Welcome

Welcome to The Squirrely Book Club. The purpose of this blog is to be a forum for online friends to talk about books together and hopefully get meet people who share their interests. If this sounds like the kind of thing you'd be interested in, feel free to join up. We aren't charging anything, though we'd ask that you read the books we are discussing and not just kibitz our discussions. Please feel free to join in.

For our first book we will be reading Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. It can be found for $9.95 on Amazon.com, so it's not too expensive. Since most people are going to be out doing holiday shopping now anyway, feel free to pick this up. We'll be discussing the prologue, "Shade of Fear", and the first five chapters, "Discovery", "Palancar Valley", "Dragon Tales", "Fate's Gift", and "Awakening" this Monday (the discussion post will open at Midnight Eastern Standard Time). Please comment here to show us that you are interested, then feel free to join us on Monday!
